I have to admit that I also buy sauces for home, and I am not an exception when it comes to dipping in some meat or fish in bought sauces. A homemade sauce is definitely the best alternative to the bought one, which is why it sometimes motivates me to make some sauces at home.

Making tartar sauce at home isn’t too complicated or messy. It is a simple dip to spoon in and enjoy next to any dish. For example, tartar sauce will tastily pair with roasted meat, with vegetable frittata, with some fish. It’s light, and a little sour-like taste will nicely and gently complete any meal.
For example, my daughter loves ketchup; she eats everything with it. I try to convince her that it isn’t that good, and I try to limit her to a small amount or simply substitute with other sauces.

You can make this sauce in two ways: the first one with the food processor’s help where you add all the ingredients and mix until it looks like a creamy paste.
The second option, the one that I have done, is mixing all the ingredients in a bowl and serving it that way. I adore feeling the ingredients’ shape and taste in a sauce – it as if better accentuates the flavours.
