Spicy and Hot Honey Sauce

Hot Honey Sauce infused with spicy peppers is a new kind of add-in to some of your recipes. It is very addictive, sweet/spicy and works great in many everyday recipes like meat, fish, or veggies.

Honey with spicy peppers – you may think it is an odd combination, but it turns out a magical and fabulous idea. Sweet/spicy sauce is so exciting and new, but you get in love at once with its taste. It pars just perfect with some chicken wings, with pork ribs, or any other meat you have. This sauce discovered my new me, as I have tried it for the first time, as well. I have to say that it is delicious and not too spicy. I have used mild/spicy peppers to avoid a too hot chilli sauce. My husband adores bursting flavours; however, I accept mild tastes.

Spicy and Hot Honey Sauce This recipe is quick to make and looks fantastic in a glass jar. That bright golden colour is so inviting and so delightful that you want to try it instantly.

I have used some dried hot spicy peppers, small mild spicy peppers, red chilli flakes, and my local best quality honey. This hot honey sauce is outrageously delicious in dressing, and you will want to make more of it as I guarantee you that you will be super enchanted with it.

For tip: I add 2 tbsp of green tea and 1tsp of propolis to a ½ cup of hot honey sauce and drink it as it works excellent against flu.

Easy, simple, and quick, this homemade hot honey is infused with chilli peppers’ aroma and turns out in a fabulous sauce to serve on anything, even in some cocktails.

Where can you add hot honey sauce?

What is hot honey?

Spicy and Hot Honey Sauce Hot honey is a spiced honey sauce infused with lots of chilli peppers and quickly served on pizza, bread, meat, etc. Hot honey sauce is available in almost any stores nowadays. However, it takes just 20 minutes to make it at home. So this is why I have decided to make it by myself and to avoid the bought one.

Does hot honey need to be refrigerated?

Honey is one of the most miracle ingredients ever. It tastes sweet, but its sweetness is so beneficial and useful that you can easily refuse sugar in favour of honey. You can store honey in any dark places in your kitchen; the hot honey can also be kept anywhere, except the fridge. It is not necessary to keep the honey sauce in your fridge. Keeping it in the refrigerator will cause the honey to solidify ( to harden), but this is the process you don’t want it to be.

How to make hot honey sauce?

Spicy and Hot Honey Sauce IngredientsTake a cutting board and cut dried and fresh peppers your way.

Take a medium saucepan and on medium heat, add the chilli peppers and pour honey. Pour the quantity you want to use. If you want more sauce, quickly pour more honey.

Gently stir and bring to a bare simmer, but don’t boil. When you see that it barely starts to boil, turn the heat to low and let the sauce cook for about 20-30 minutes to infuse spicy and chilli aromas. Adjust spicy pepper flakes if you don’t feel it that spicy and hot.

Spicy and Hot Honey Sauce Remove the pan from the stove and pour the mixture into a jar with the help of a strainer.

Store the sauce in a cool/dark place.

Some tips…

  • Keep in mind not to boil the honey as you don’t want it sticky; on the contrary, it has to maintain that liquidy texture.
  • If you feel that your honey isn’t that spicy at your liking, easily add pepper flakes.
  • I love to add some dried chilli peppers to the sauce as they are so hot and spicy that they easily  make take my sauce to another level.

Simple and easily, your honey sauce is ready to be served!
