How to make a banana split?
Making banana split at home is easy as it sounds. The only ingredients you need to have are the ones you have already in your kitchen.Â
- Some ripe bananas
- Nutella or Whipped Cream
- Cinnamon powder
- Sugar
- Vanilla ice-cream or black chocolate ice cream
- Any nuts or almond flakes work great here.
Take a large cutting board and slice in half lengthwise two bananas. Take a skillet, cut slices of bananas down, and pour some sugar, honey, and cinnamon.Â
Here you have two options to prepare this dessert: either bake them for 5 minutes in the oven with an aluminium foil covering skillet. Or, frying them on the stove for some 5 to 7 minutes until soft and caramelised.Â
Pay attention that the bananas shouldn’t look too soft and mashy.Â
Take a plater and start layering.Â
Add bananas with the cut sides up and top two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Garnish with whipped cream, fruits, and almond flakes.
I have garnished with blueberries, strawberries, and some chocolate syrup.Â
Take a spoon and dare to enjoy the moment.Â
 Simple and delicious.Â
