Christmas Snack Sweet Mix:
No matter either you prefer a Christmas dessert or just a fancy snack, this sweet mix will delight and impress your guests.
Crunchy popcorn, colorful candies, soft marshmallow all come together with a white melted chocolate coating that creates a perfect snowy look. Nothing easier you could ever imagine. As an option, you can use various kinds of candy or some toasted nuts. I assure you will enjoy this snack for many years to come.
In a saucepan, melt white chocolate chips for coating. You can also use as a coating the commercial candy coating – just melt it according to package instruction either in a microwave or double boiler.
How to make popcorn? The best way to cook popcorn is on the stovetop. Take a heavy-bottomed pot and preheat it over high heat with three tablespoons of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, lower the heat to medium and add ½ cup of popcorn kernels to the pan. Sprinkle 1 tsp of salt. Close the pan with a lid and wait for the seeds to pop. It will take a few minutes. Once the kernels pop, remove the pot from the heat. Take care when you open the lid as the remaining kernels can still pop. Transfer the popcorn to a serving bowl and enjoy.
Also, to make it easier, you can go with store-bought popcorn. Just grab a plain or salted one.
Grab a large mixing bowl. Lay some pretzel. Add marshmallow, popcorn, candies, and toss. This time I go with skittles and M&M’S. Pour over this sweet mixture melted chocolate or candy coating. Mix again gently. For an excellent look, top with colorful sprinkles.
Now you have Snack Sweet Mix just great for Christmas, parties, movie nights, or even gifts.
