Roasted Pears With Blue Cheese

One of the most elegant appetizers I adore making for autumn evenings is Roasted Pears With Blue Cheese—a simple snack to enjoy with a glass of white wine.

Roasted pears with sour gorgonzola and nuts are an excellent appetizer to serve when you crave a more unique dinner. I know many people don’t like the balance of sweet and sour at a time. But if speaking about me, I simply adore roasted cheese with anything. Just try two of my recipes for Baked Brie cheese here. I love odd tastes with ultra-flavorful aromas. Hit the jackpot with this flamboyant recipe in front of your guests, and they will remain wordless.

Roasted Pears With Blue CheesePear is a fall fruit and can be paired with anything. You can also add some fried pancetta, and it will taste amazing. I am writing about those finely and creamy pears, and my mouth is watering. The sweet pear taste, combined with pungent blue cheese, topped with nuts, is simply out of this world.

An insane taste that will reinvigorate your mood and tastes.

Ingredients:

Roasted pears with blue cheese is an easy recipe that is prepared quickly and has an abundance of flavours that will make you enjoy every sip. This appetizer recipe is perfect for lazy evenings. Catch below the short list of ingredients.

Gorgonzola Dolce, also known as Dolcelatte is a soft Italian cheese made from cows’ milk that is characterized by a sweet taste. It is a softer but fatter version of the classic blue cheese.

Roasted-Pears-ingredientsPears are considered a healthy fruit. It contains phytonutrients, including anti-inflammatory flavonoids and polyphenols. Pears are rich in fibres, especially pectins, that have beneficial effects on health. One fresh pear contains about 12% of the recommended daily dose of vitamin C. Having a low glycemic index, pears can be used when following diets, like the ketogenic diet, weight loss diet, low glycemic diet, and others.

Nuts – here you can use your imagination and use the nuts that you like the most. Walnuts, pine nuts, cashews, and pecan nuts will pair perfectly with pears. But the most I like the combination of roasted almonds with blue cheese, and pear. It doesn’t matter what kind of nuts will you choose, as all of them are excellent sources of protein, omega-6, omega-3 ( healthy fats), magnesium, and Vitamin E. According to the Healthline website, nuts are great from Keto recipes to vegan/diet ones.

Roasted Pears With Blue CheeseHoney is an optional ingredient for this recipe. Honey is considered to be low in cholesterol, sodium, and saturated fats. It also has antibacterial action. If you have a honey intolerance, you can easily skip it or substitute it with agave syrup. An interesting shade to this dish will give some drops of homemade Cinnamon syrup.

How to Make Roasted Pears With Blue Cheese?

Autumn is a fantastic season rich in various aromatic vegetables and fruits. Delicious dishes, such as Vegan pumpkin soup, Butternut squash pie, Baked apples, Apple Casserole, Roasted bell peppers can be prepared from fall gifts of nature. Pears are one of autumn’s aromatic fruits, and in its seasons, they are incredibly delicious. Roasted Pears With Blue Cheese will become one of your quick and healthy desserts to astonish your family and friends.

Before you will start preparing pears, preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.

Roasted Pears With Blue CheeseGrab two pears, wash them, and dry them with a paper towel. Do not take too ripe pears because they might lose their shape during baking. Cut them in halves lengthwise and scoop the seeds and core. If you are not baking pears immediately, toss them with some lemon juice to prevent them from turning brown. For scooping, use a small tablespoon. Arrange the pears cut side up on the prepared baking tray. Fix them with a toothpick so that the pears will not wobble. Fill each pear halves with Gorgonzola dolce. Then top with some nuts. Send pears to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Once the time has elapsed, remove the pears. Transfer them to the plater and drizzle with some honey or syrup. Serve warm!
