Why raspberry with Oreos?

My daughter adores raspberries more than other fruits, so for this easy and fast dessert, I have opted for some frozen raspberries with Oreos that I always have in my kitchen. I don’t understand Oreos’ taste, but my daughter is fond of them. So, I have decided to combine them and to create simple but fancy and elegant parfaits.

It is a quick sweet treat with a creamy, smooth texture to spoon in and savour. I adore light and easy dessert after some hearty meals. They as if add the final delicious and nice note to the dinner.

Raspberries go ideal with chocolate; however, this is an ordinary recipe, but I wanted something unusual and new. Blended Oreos will make your dessert look attractive, and the crunchiness in your mouth will create a pleasant, long-lasting sensation. I liked how it comes out and the way it tastes.

Raspberry Oreo No-bake dessert parfaitI adore desserts that implies less effort and time. So, this no-bake raspberry oreo dessert is worth to make and enjoy. Your kids, for sure, will adore this easy, and delightful sweet treat. I have to say that this dessert isn’t too sweet; on the contrary, it has a sourly balanced taste that makes it special and unique. You have to try this not too sweet version and leave your opinion. However, in case you love sweet and intense aromas, then easily add more icing sugar while whipping the cream.

How does it taste?

This raspberry oreo no-bake dessert has a rich and creamy texture, bursting raspberry aromas and flavour. The best part of this dessert lays in its quickness and simple ingredients. The no-baking process is thrilling and fantastic!

This decadent little dessert looks perfect and tastes super delicious. Airy, sweet, and creamy are just some words to describe this simple but tasty dessert.

Does it have a crust?

This easy raspberry oreo no-bake dessert doesn’t have a crust, but in some words, it has a blended oreo layer that is as if support for other layers. You may find some recipes offering Graham cracker crust, but Oreo for me earned a better place. I liked it more, and the colours are merely eye-catching. I adore nice-looking, as well as colourful, desserts that are so inviting and delicious. For sure, you can make any crust for this simple dessert, but it will take more time and effort.

Oreo cookies are great for no-bake dessert recipes. They make the perfect crust for many desserts like cheesecake, parfaits, different types of cakes, and even ice-creams.

Raspberry Oreo No-bake dessert parfaitHow to make Raspberry Oreo no-bake dessert?

This dessert is super easy to make as you can assemble any ingredients, and it will look excellent and fluffy. For today, I have made an easy dessert that requires no baking, no mould, no baking trays. All you will need are some nice-looking glasses, imagination, and time to savour the moment. So let’s start the process!

Raspberry Oreo No-bake dessert ingredients

What do you need:

  • One pack of Oreo cookies ( 150gr or 5oz)
  • 8 oz Whipping Cream
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries

If you are using frozen raspberries just like me, then let them thaw overnight in the fridge to avoid the excess of water.

I have made by myself the whipped cream, but you can easily buy it in any store. How I did it: take the hand blender and pour the heavy cream with 3 tbsp of icing sugar and blend until it has a firm whipping consistency. I like making it at home as it is fun and much tastier.

Take two medium bowls: in one bowl pour half of the whipped cream and another half in another bowl.

Puree the raspberries and transfer to one half of the whipped cream bowl. It should have a super lovely and eye-catching pink colour.

Blend oreo cookies to obtain some Oreo crumbs.

Now comes the time for assembling the dessert: take one glass and start with oreo crumbs, pour over raspberry cream plus Nutella cream. Repeat one more time and garnish with any fruits you have.

Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving to have them more firm and stable. Spoon in and enjoy.

This dessert is simple to make, and delicious to enjoy.
