- 4 medium whole eggs
- 3-4 tablespoons of grated sweet cheese such as mozzarella or cheddar

My advice is to start by heating up the skillet. How is that the first step in making a cheese omelet? Therefore, get your favorite skillet and put it to medium heat. In the meantime, get to the real preparation.
How long to beat the eggs?
Beat the eggs, season with salt and pepper. Pour in the milk slowly and continue whisking. The more you beat the eggs, the fluffier it gets. Moreover, when you take your time to beat the eggs well, the texture will be so soft, you will think some french chef did it for you. You know it has reached the right point when there’s a little foam hat on top of the mixture.
How to fry the omelet?
Now that the skillet is hot, add the butter and let it melt. Make sure the melted butter covers the entire surface of the skillet to ensure even cooking. Pour the beaten egg mixture and cover the skillet with a lid. Turn heat to low. This is an important step to take as to make sure the omelet is cooked all throw, in and out. Allow the omelet to cook for about 2 minutes. Use this time grate the cheese if you don’t have it already shredded.
Finally, take out the lid and generously sprinkle the grated cheese all over the omelet. Use a wooden or silicone spatula, and tilt the pan so as to slide the omelet slightly towards the edge, gently close the half-moon omelet. Be gentle, do not break it. Cover with lid and remove from heat. Let sit for 1 minute. At this point, the cheese will melt between the hot omelet wall, yet, it will not get overcooked.

- 4 medium eggs
- 4 tbsp mozzarella grated
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- Put a skillet to heat on medium flame
- Beat the eggs with the milk and salt & pepper
- Add butter to the hot skillet and wait for it to melt
- Pour in the egg mixture and cover with a lid.
- Turn the heat to low, let cook for 2 minutes
- Take the lid out and sprinkle with grated cheese
- Gently flip one side of the omelet to form a semi-moon shape
- Cover with lid and take the skillet off the stove.
- Let sit for one minute for the cheese to melt then serve with pleasure!
