Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Whatever you do, you should not skip this meal because it provides you with the energy needed for the whole day. Even if you have a busy schedule in the morning or you have to leave for work very early, make time and eat, so you will start your day off right, you will wake up easier and you will have more energy during the day.
Breakfast treats should be nutritionally balanced, full of protein, healthy fats, fiber, and a balanced amount of carbohydrates. As I said a good breakfast is very important for energy, as it keeps blood sugar level in check. I really like breakfast recipes and eggs are favorite in our house. Cooking eggs is one of the simplest things – that is what I want during my busy weekday mornings. The egg recipes are so versatile and I am addicted to experiment and find new recipes. Today I am ready to share with you a classic American style recipe of scrambled eggs with crispy bacon.

How to make Scrambled Eggs wit Crispy Bacon?
A great way to start your day is to make a one-pan breakfast that takes just minutes. Scrambled eggs with crispy bacon is a perfect candidate.
The key to making perfect scrambled eggs is the cooking method. An important particularity of cooking is to use a high-quality nonstick frying pan. Using the right skillet will make it much easiest. The ingredients are so simple that you even do not need to pin this recipe.
First, we will start cooking bacon. For this recipe, I usually use thin-cut bacon. But either thin or thick is just a matter of your preference. Preheat the skillet over medium-low heat and lay the bacon in a single layer. Cook until starting to brown, then flip the slices and cook until crispy. This can take 5-7 minutes, depending on bacon thickness. Once you see it brown and crispy transfer the bacon slices on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb the extra grease.
And finally – delicious scrambled eggs. To get a perfect consistency, eggs need more fat than is in milk. Therefore for a good result and tasty flavor, I usually to fry scramble in the same pan I previously fried the bacon. If your bacon was too fatty, do not use all grease. Leave in the skillet about 2 tbsp of it.
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl crack 6 eggs. Always choose fresh eggs. Pour in ⅓ cup of milk, season with black pepper and beat until the mixture is a pure yellow color, with no visible egg white.
The next step is the really hard part – the cooking. Now when you have a good nonstick pan and qualitative and flavorful bacon grease is important to set the right temperature on the stove. Leave the heat between low-medium, so it warms up but doesn’t get too hot. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet directly in the center. Using a spatula pull the cooked outer edges in towards the center of the skillet. When almost done season to taste with some salt. If desired use fresh herbs, which balance the whole dish making it fresh and flavorful. Cook eggs to desired doneness.
How to serve Scrambled Eggs?
Once you have your scrambled eggs ready pair them with crispy bacon. Sprinkle some spring onion and garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
