As I mentioned before, my husband adores making me alcohol cocktails. He is the best at doing them. So making at home a mojito drink isn’t that hard or with much effort.
I LOVE summer and all refreshing cocktails it offers. However, when it comes to a mix of strawberry, mint, lime all together with alcohol and triple sec – the drink is bursting with flavour and taste unbelievable. A mad drink to enjoy and savour.

What is a mojito?
Mojito is an authentic Cuban cocktail made primarily of 5 key ingredients: white rum, lime juice, sugar, soda water, and some mint leaves. This drink is so popular and famous because of a great taste of balanced sweetness and citrusy aroma. A perfect taste to complete a cosy evening.
The ideal proportions for the best tasting mojito are 1 ½ oz of white rum, 1 oz of fresh lime juice and a slice of lime, 2 tsp of sugar or less if you want it less sweet, and some leaves of mint. Easy, simple and tasty! Keep in mind that doing it at home – the measures differs :)!
How much alcohol is in a mojito?
If you LOVE mojito as much as I do then you add as much in order to have an intoxicating and ecstatic drink. If speaking about the authentic mojito then 14gr or 0.6ounces of pure alcohol will be enough. In almost all restaurants or bars this will be the perfect measure for a great mojito drink. However, at home, you can personalize and add more alcohol to obtain a heady and joyful drink.
