Bloody Mary Cocktail

You will never go wrong with a Bloody Mary Cocktail. One of my beloved drinks any time of the year.

Cocktails are my weakness. I adore serving fancy, sparkling, elegant, or just simple cocktails.

If I have mentioned in some of my articles that White Russian is one of the most famous vodka cocktails, get the recipe here, then this Bloody Mary is its ancestor.

One of the oldest vodka cocktails with a versatile presentation and taste.

I have drunk many bloody marys in my life, to get aquatinted to the one I really adore and enjoy.

Simple is always the best.

Bloody Mary CocktailHowever, this cocktail gets better if you add spices, tabasco, some olives, celery, and lemon. All in one makes it taste like one of the best bloody mary cocktails.

Tangy with a hint of spice – this is all you need to know while making the best Bloody mary cocktail.

If be honest, I adore serving bloody mary on the second day after each holiday or any special occasion. It as if energizes and invigorates my feelings and is one of the best cocktails to serve after a hard/busy night. A hangover drink to reinvigorate feelings.

Keep in mind that making some nice-looking and super delicious bloody marys, hides in the garnish you add to your cocktail. Some lemon or lime will brighten up your cocktail, while tabasco drops will give it a fiery kick.

It is a simple drink that you can assemble at home, easily.

Some savoury add-ins:

  • Grilled shrimp
  • Celery stalks
  • Lime or lemon
  • Tabasco
  • Worchester sauce
  • Fresh cucumber
  • Different seasoning

Do you shake or stir Bloody Mary?

Bloody Mary CocktailThe best tasting bloody mary cocktail needs no shaking or stirring with ice like you are used to making many famous cocktails. The simple and best result is pouring tomato juice over some cubed ice, and then perfectly pouring a shot of vodka. You will mix the consistency with the garnish ingredients you add to the drink. For example, I mix it with the celery stalks and then get a bite – that’s fantastic.

This vodka cocktail ends in many variations, as you can personalize it your way or keep simple and easy. It is up to you to decide. If you are not a Bloody Mary fan, you can get an eye on my super fancy and stylish Apple Cider Champagne cocktail that is outrageous and fantastic, here.

How to make Bloody Mary Cocktail?

Bloody Mary is one of the favourite cocktails that I really enjoy having on the next day after a hard night. It really invigorates my feelings and awakes me. I adore making it with different add-ins and enjoy drinking and eating all it has.

Bloody Mary Cocktail Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Tomato juice – bought or homemade
  • Vodka
  • Tobasco or Worchester sauce ( or both)
  • Ice
  • Celery stalks
  • Olives
  • Lemon (optional)
  • Seasoning
  • Rimming glasses is also optional, but truly fancy and elegant

An icon in the cocktail world, simple to make and delicious to drink. Bloody Mary is easy to make from scratch if followed some steps.

Bloody Mary CocktailTake two old-fashioned glasses and add ice. Pour tomato sauce ¾ of a glass, add a dash of Tabasco and over pour one shot of vodka. You can use a knife or spoon to nicely pour vodka to have a nice and visible top layer. Okay, this is optional but interesting.

Add seasoning, garnish with a stalk of celery and stick olives and lemon into a toothpick.

Rim glasses with some sea salt. ( I have skipped it as I didn’t have coarse salt at hand)
