How to make a keto chocolate mousse?
Making Keto Chocolate Mousse at home is simple, easy, fast, and absolutely satisfying. It is a keto-friendly recipe that can be served at any occasion. Even kids will find fun of this great tasting mousse.
The ingredients:
3 ounces cream cheese, softened ( I have used classic Philadelphia soft cheese)
½ cup heavy cream
1 bean of vanilla
¼ cup powdered zero-calorie sweetener (I have used Stevia sweetener)
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
Making the dessert:
Take a large bowl from your electric mixer and mix the cream cheese first. Mix until fluffy and light.
Step 2: add the heavy cream and seeds of the vanilla bean. Mix gently and gradually add the sweetener, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are incorporated and the texture looks like a chocolate fluffy cream.
I like to serve it immediately, or you can refrigerate for later if you want it more thicken.
Take some nice glasses and spoon some amount, carefully. Optionally, for a nicer presentation, you can spoon the mousse in a piping bag and pip it in your desired glass.
Best Sweeteners on a Low-Carb Keto Diet
Here the list is endless. But, if you want the best sweetener made of natural compounds then Stevia is the winner. I am always using Stevia as this great sugar substitute is made of plant and has zero calories.
Other good and famous sweeteners are: Erythritol, Monk fruit, Yacon Syrup, Tagatose and Aspartame which I consider the worst, but if you like it easily use it.
Enjoy!
