How to prepare the Egg Breakfast Pizza?
To begin with, you will need a medium baking pan for this recipe. This will host all the ingredients that we will place in layers. Taking into account that the pizza will be made of several layers, I recommend opting for a pan with high edges.
Start by cracking the eggs in a deep bowl. I used 6 eggs for 4 people. You can juggle the quantity depending on the number of people you want to have breakfast or brunch with. Add salt and pepper to taste and garlic powder to your liking. You may skip the garlic for a softer taste. But, believe me, it will only intensify the flavor of the dish.
Some recipes omit sour cream from the composition. However, I recommend including it because it will add creaminess and sophistication to the final dish. Also, some housewives add a little milk instead of sour cream. Well, it’s not a wrong approach, in fact. But specifically, the cream is the one that adds a little more body, which makes the final texture more complete.
Further on, take an egg bitter and energetically mix all the ingredients. You should get a fairly watery homogeneous mass in which the yolk, egg white, and cream get very well blended.
Now it’s time to move on to the aesthetic part. For this, we will thoroughly wash the vegetables and fresh green herbs. Vegetables adds to this not only the color but a considerable healthy notes. Being full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, vegetables provides only benefits to our body.
Cut the tomatoes and bell peppers into small cubes. I opted for yellow bell peppers to enrich the play of colors in our pizza. Similarly, you can add green bell pepper, for a more intense color vitality.
Either way, the freshness of the green will abound from the herbs that you will also chop. The parsley and spring onions will not only add aesthetic vigor but also an enchanting aroma. Vegetables and herbs go now in the bowl with eggs and sour cream, which you mix in a vivid orchestra of colors.
How do you put together The Egg Breakfast Pizza?
Further on, return to the baking form. Grease it generously with butter and put a layer of bread. I opted for a pan that fits 4 slices, exactly how many members we have in the family. You can opt for a larger one, depending on how many people you want to serve. Then, pour the entire mixture of eggs and vegetables, spreading them evenly over the entire surface.
Now it’s time for the cheese layer. I used gouda cheese for this recipe. If you prefer cheddar, go ahead. In fact, you can use any cheese you want. It is important that it melts well. Thus, the cheese will spread gracefully with each bite, making the pizza even tastier.
After covering the whole surface of the bread with slices of cheese, do the same with the ham. Place the slices next to each other to cover the cheese layer. In the end, all you have to do is grate parmesan as a final layer. It will melt easily, emanating an alluring smell and forming an attractive crispy layer.
Baking instruction:
All that remains is to roast the breakfast pizza in the oven for about 40 minutes to 350 °F . Within a few minutes, you will already feel the delightful aroma that will awaken your taste buds. I recommend serving the pizza while it is still hot so that the cheese spreads appetizingly. I guarantee you a surprising taste with this recipe that you can serve either at breakfast or at brunch. You will be delighted with the soft texture and the rich amalgam of tastes in it. So will your family members. Savor the pleasure of a different pizza and discover a new taste for your mornings! Bon appetit!
