Any feta recipe is super delicious and creamy. I adore it in pastry, next to some veggies, or in salads. Since I had tried it in Greece when I was young, I am a feta fan. Feta will taste delicious and fabulous next to some boiled beetroot. This balanced taste of sweet and sour is ideal for me. I adore such easy and light salads served next to anything. Feta is an incredible ingredient and pairs great with many others. I adore having it in my fridge and using it anytime I have an occasion. This cheese reminds me of the Mediterranean air, summer feelings with a creaminess texture. Topped with some herbs, good quality olive oil, feta cheese with tomatoes are one of the best duos.Â
I adore salads, but when it comes to a salad with some cheese, then my heart melts. When I have gatherings, I always opt for making savoury and flavourful salads, especially with feta cheese. It is always a winner on my table—an authentic Greek style, but with a touch of my personality.Â
What I love most in salads, are the big cut veggies and onions, with a big slice of feta cheese topped over. I adore enjoying a piece of cooked meat or fish next to a salad with feta cheese. The aromas are bursting in my mouth, and I am entirely happy and satisfied.Â
Which feta cheese is best for the salad?
Greek Feta cheese is the most popular and frequently used in salad recipes. It is creamy, tangy, and slightly sourly, thus making it taste perfectly in any recipe. Also, feta cheese can be used in soups, next to some greenies, in pastry, and simply topped on a slice of bread.Â
There is French and Bulgarian feta cheese, but the Greek one is the most commonly used.Â
What goes well with feta cheese?
Feta cheese goes perfect with many ingredients. Its sourly/tangy taste will nicely pair with roasted veggies, especially bell peppers, with potatoes cooked in any forms, with eggs, in pizza, and with proteins. This incredible cheese will make your dish tastier and lingering.Â
I adore adding some feta cheese in casseroles or quiches. Its sour texture better accentuates the taste and adds an elegant tone to the dish.
