Is chicken meat good on a keto diet?
Chicken meat is considered a staple ingredient in the keto diet. We know the keto diet is about good protein and healthy fats balance. Even though it is not so rich in fats, it is an excellent source of high-quality protein and has no carbohydrates. This thing makes it so valuable. The fat is gained from paired ingredients, such as cheeses in our recipe.Â
Can you use other meat to make this Keto Crustless Pizza?
Definitely, you can! You can substitute chicken meat with beef, pork, or turkey. The cooking time might vary based on each meat type.
How to make the Keto Crustless Pizza
This keto crustless pizza is an excellent alternative for those who can not imagine their parties without pizza but are on the keto diet (or simply want to cut carbs). Many great low-carb recipes on our blog can serve you inspiration.
Carefully clean the meat from the bone, skin, and extra fat. Using a sharp knife, cut it into slices. Then take one slice of meat and lay it flat between two pieces of waxed paper or in a plastic bag or cover it with a sheet of cling film. This way, you will avoid meat splashing all over your kitchen. With a flat meat mallet, pound the meat lightly until the slice of meat is even in thickness (about1/4th-inch).
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Grease a baking pan with some olive oil. Lay the meat on the bottom of the pan. Rub the garlic paste into the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Top with onion and sprinkle some chopped parsley and spring onions. Next, arrange a layer of tomatoes and spread sour cream, followed by a layer of brie cheese. In the end, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Send the pizza to the preheated oven for 40 minutes until it is bubbly, golden, and perfect!
This crustless pizza is a perfect meal – healthy, hearty, and so simple to prepare.
Enjoy!
How to freeze and thaw this Keto Crustless Pizza?
Sincerely, I would not recommend freezing this crustless pizza, as it takes 10 minutes to assemble. But a few tips I will leave you here. Assemble it directly in the pan you will bake. Cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap. Freeze for up to 2-3 months. Before cooking, thaw the pizza in the refrigerator overnight.Â
For note:
- If you crave a spicy note, add some chili or jalapenos peppers, or mix in sour cream some chili flakes or hot sauce in sour cream.
- If you do not like the cheeses I have used, substitute them for the one you want, but make sure it melts well.
- Add more vegetables if you desire – some sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, or olives – any of these will work great.

What size is pan?
Hi Donna!
Mine is an 11-inch pan! But this recipe is easily customized, so you can use the pan that you have.
