Pork chops cooked in the air fryer are one of the easiest and most helpful methods to enjoy a delicious restaurant meal in minutes.Â
Crispy, spicy, tender on the outside, and soft on the inside, this is how the meat looks if cooked in the air fryer.Â
It takes you some 15 minutes to obtain succulent and tasty meat. I like to cook in my air fryer, and I am really fond that some complicated recipes are now easy and a pleasure to cook. A simple salad or any other side dish will complete the pork chops for dinner to look appealing and delicious.Â
You can check some of my popular air fryer recipes, such as air fryer chicken cutlets, meatloaf in the air fryer, air fryer pork belly, and other dishes.Â
My husband likes pork meat, and these chops turned out to be ideal and tasty. This is an easy and satisfying weeknight recipe to make and enjoy with family.Â
Why does air frying any dishes work so well?Â
This is the question anyone has wondered, but the answer is simply in the convection of heating. These small air fryers are mini ovens with more effective baking than regular big ovens. The convection heat makes the dish cook quicker and tastier. This is why I am now cooking many recipes in an air fryer due to its efficacy and fastness. Also, I have to admit that the result is simply excellent.Â
Spices
More is better. For this recipe, I have used a mix of spices: black pepper, salt, garlic powder, Provence spices, and a lot of sweet/chili paprika. Here, it is up to you to use any spices you like or have. For example, curry or coriander will also make a great choice.Â
The ingredients:Â
3 pieces of pork chops ( if you have bigger chops, just cut halves); they should be ½-inch thick
1 tsp salt
a tsp black pepper
a tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika powder
A pinch of chili flakes
1 tsp Provence or Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
How to make air fryer pork chops?
For this recipe, you will need 3-4 pieces of pork chops for ½-inch thick each piece.Â
Preheat the air fryer to 350F (180C) for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, take a plate and add all spices and mix them together.Â
Grease some olive oil over each piece of pork chop and coat in the seasoning. It should be all covered in seasoning, like in the picture below. Rub evenly on both sides.
Take the air fryer basket and lay some parchment pepper at the bottom, and insert one or 2 pieces of pork chops.Â
Cook for about 15-18 minutes.Â
For note: try not to overcook the pork chops as they will become dry and chewy.Â
Take the basket out and with the help of a fork, try the meat. It should be tender, crispy, and juicy. Enjoy it next to anything.Â
You can use both parchment paper or aluminum foil to clean up easier the air fryer basket and to protect it from scratches.Â
Side dishes tips
Pork chops will pair great with anything but the best pair will be a healthy green salad. Meat with salad is a balanced and pleasing combination. However, you can serve it next to anything you like, such as pasta, mashed potatoes, grilled or fresh veggies, and others.Â

Way too spicy!!!
Hello,
Why is it too spicy? What ingredients have you used?
Cayenne and chili flakes could be a bit overpowering for some.
I eliminated one of them and it turned out good.
Hello, yeah you are right, but sometimes my husband wants super chilli with intense flavour this is why I like to add chilli flakes. Sure, you can skip one of them.
