How to make the best Lemonade?Â
An easy drink with a positive result. Such a welcoming on the table on hot summer days.Â
Just some simple ingredients and you can enjoy a restaurant-like drink.
The ingredients:Â
- Lemons – here it depends on your acidity and your citrusy likening. I adore lemons, but not too much. For an ordinary evening, I try to add 2 medium-size lemons.
- Lime – lime is optional, but I adore how it pairs with lemons, and I simply adore lime’s smell. I try to add some lime juice to make it more refreshing.
- Mint – some fresh leaves of mint is just welcoming. The mint aroma combined with citrusy ingredients makes one of the best balanced tasty drink.
- Syrup – I have made a homemade syrup made of still water and ¼ cup of sugar. Take a bowl and pour the water and the sugar and warm until the sugar dissolves well, but do not boil for more than a few seconds because you don’t want to get a too thick consistency. Or, easily use sparkling water.
- For the simple syrup: on a stove bring to boil the water with the sugar but don’t boil for too long as you want a syrup but not a thick consistency. However, you can easily substitute it with sparkling water.Â
- Cut the lemons and add some mint leaves and pour the syrup or the water over them. Add more still water, to taste, until you reach your desired sweetness and taste.Â
- Top some lime juice or slices of lemon for more freshness taste.
- Chill.
How to freeze lemonade?
Simple! Freeze the leftover in your fridge for 2-3 days and serve it as it is. Optional, you can add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to refresh a little drink before serving it. So simple and so delicious!
