I have to admit that I also buy hotdogs in the streets when I travel and I am out of time to have dinner in a restaurant. I’m a hot dog fan, especially my husband, who always enjoys wursts in bread. Wursts are sausage-like but more delicious and healthier.
The most delicious hot dog is the simplest one made of crunchy/fried onion that is simply fantastic. Ketchup and mustard are some must partners that ideally complete sausage along with a fresh baguette.
Why make a hot dog in Air Fryer?
Easy, simple, and some softly/crunchy hot dogs to enjoy in 5 minutes.
I have tried making hot dogs in my air fryer for the first time, and my family enjoyed them.
I have put both the buns and hot dogs in the air fryer, and I liked the result very much.
The bun was slightly crispy on the edges, and the sausage was nicely fried in no oil.
A healthy recipe to enjoy even in late evenings.
If you have an air fryer at home, I strongly recommend you try making some hot dogs as they turn out so deliciously juicy and crispy. It will solve the problem when kids ask you to prepare something late evening. I am familiar with such moments as my daughter always surprises me late in the evening that she wants something to eat.
I have been attempting recipes that I will share with you, and I am totally enchanted by cooking in this Air fryer. It is super fast to make some hot dogs in an air fryer, and it cleans up quickly. I am sure that once you try making them in an Air Fryer, you will never again want to boil, bake, fry sausages. No smell, mess, or fatty dishes.
Are sausages better than hot dogs?
Sausages are regularly larger than ordinary hot dogs. More else, sausages are fattier with more calories. Also, they offer a high level of proteins, healthy nutrients, and vitamins.

Place the buns in the air fryer basket and cook them at 400F (200C) for 5 minutes. Toasting buns takes the same time as hot dogs, but you can opt for fewer minutes. I adore the crispy edges of the buns that are simply irresistible. Watch the video below👇
Take the buns off the basket, place the hot dogs and cook them at the same temperature for 5 minutes. Pay attention; no oil I have added.
