Air Fryer Toast Sandwich

Air fryer toast sandwich is arguably one of the easiest and most yummy appetizers to savor for breakfast or late lunch.

Toast sandwiches are probably one of the most loved sandwiches in any house. No family doesn’t make these easy sandwiches filled with everything.

The air fryer literally makes one of the best sandwiches, and since I am addicted to this gadget I like making more recipes in it. I tried these sandwiches in the air fryer for the first time and was nicely surprised by the result. Some 5 minutes and your delicious breakfast is ready to enjoy.

Air Fryer Toast Sandwich What has nicely surprised me was that the bread wasn’t hard or burnt, like in a toaster. On the contrary, in the air fryer, the toasts are crispy and crunchy with a soft texture on the inside. They had an ideal texture and a nice golden color.

Stack this toasted sandwich with cheese and ham and enjoy a melted cheese sandwich in just minutes.

Delightfully crispy and tasty, these cheesy sandwiches are super easy to make and super kid-friendly.

There is always a problem in my house with these sandwiches: either cook them with just cheese or make them with meat?

Air Fryer Toast Sandwich Since I adore both cheese and ham I try to make more of them but with different fillings. For example, my daughter loves ham and cheese, while my husband likes to add spiciness. I like toasted sandwiches with double or more cheese.

What cheese best suits?

Cheddar cheese can be a great option, hard mozzarella, or Gruyere cheese. I like brie as well, but try to cook it just for 3 minutes as it melts quicker.

Speaking about meat

Air Fryer Toast Sandwich The meat here is endless as you can use simple ham store-bought, or use leftover meat. You can check my leftover meat recipe here.

Filling up the sandwich is not complicated, on the contrary, it is at your liking and choice. You can add fresh veggies when the toast is done such as avocado, cherry tomatoes, green leaves, and others.

For note: I have greased the toasts with butter to obtain some perfectly crispy and softer on the inside toasts. They were amazingly tasty.

How to make Air fryer toast sandwiches?

Air Fryer Toast Sandwich For today, I have used cheddar cheese, ham, butter, and toast. I didn’t preheat the air fryer.

Butter the toasts on the insides and outsides. You can spray oil if you don’t like buttered toasts. Watch the video below👇
