Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

The air fryer sweet potato fries recipe is everyone’s favorite side dish, and it pairs perfectly with anything. These sweet potatoes are finger-licking and super easy to make.  And again, my magic air fryer saves my time and solves my problems. When I want something quick and tasty, the air fryer is the winner, and the dish turns out delicious, fast, and with no mess.  Sweet potatoes, aka batata potatoes, are a healthier alternative to ordinary potatoes, with many more positive benefits and wholesome sides.

French fries are the kids’ most beloved dish, and because my daughter is not an exception, she likes them very much. As a mom, I want her to eat healthier and more healthy dishes. These addictive sweet potatoes are a good alternative for kids, but you have to pay attention and not overcook them, as you would like to serve some crispy on the outside and tender and soft on the inside.

FAQ’s

Do I need to soak sweet potato fries before air frying?

Soaking sweet potato fries is optional, but I recommend soaking them for 15-20 minutes if you have time. Soaking them removes the excess starch, and crispy fries are made when cooked. You can skip soaking fries if you don’t have much time.

How can I make the sweet potato fries extra crispy?

To make the sweet potato fries extra crispy, cook for 3 to 5 minutes and avoid stacking fries. Also, you can sprinkle 1 tsp of cornstarch before cooking.

Can I use plain olive oil or avocado oil instead?

Yes, you can use plain olive or avocado oil, but herbed oils add more aroma and flavor to the sweet potato fries.
