Best Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix is an easy recipe to make and a great DIY idea to warm you right up. A creamy cup of hot chocolate mix to simply and easily make your evening decadent and comfort.
A hot chocolate cocoa mix – a cosy hot cup that instantly warms you up in cold and dull days.
Yes, it is summer and we all like to drink cold, icy and refreshing cocktails. I can’t be opposite as I also adore a revitalizing lemonade or iced tea. However, my daughter is simply No 1 fan to the hot chocolate mix. Either winter or summer, she never finds an excuse to drink a cup of this sweet treat. Because she simply adores cocoa or chocolate mix I have decided to make it my own homemade recipe to assure that it is much healthier and of good ingredients.
So simple and easy that you won’t buy any cocoa powder or hot chocolate outside.Â
One cheap and great secret here lies in adding powdered milk. This powdered milk will make your cup of hot chocolate simply creamy, fluffy, and delicious. The sweet drink is simply yummy and nice. Some marshmallows topped over and you will serve a gorgeous and lovely hot mix.Â
What I adore most about this drink is the way of making it in 2 minutes. The mixture is done in advance, so you can have it available anytime your child asks for it. I try to make a jar full of chocolate cocoa mixture to serve it anytime we all want.Â
What is the difference between cocoa powder and hot chocolate mix?
Historically speaking the aroma of both of these drinks is simply irresistible. Such a lovely aroma that quickly transports you to childhood years.Â
A cup of hot cocoa is made of cocoa powder, sugar and milk, while hot chocolate is usually made of melting chocolate mixed with either hot milk or simply hot water.Â
But, for today I have mixed both of these ingredients to make it more delicious and aromatic. A flavorful cup of the hot chocolate mix is sometimes the remedy for a hard busy day.
Which cocoa powder is best for hot chocolate?
Here the list is endless. There are so many brands that you won’t go wrong with anyone as the result will be in a way the same. I always try to buy the best quality organic cocoa powder to serve the best cup of hot chocolate mix, but you can go for anyone you have available.Â
However, I can suggest some ideas:Â
Anthony’s Organic Cocoa Powder, HERSHEY’S Natural Unsweetened Cocoa, Droste Cocoa Powder, Superwell Organic Cocoa Powder, and others. It is at your discretion to choose whatever you like or have available.Â
Which is healthier cacao or cocoa?
Cacao or cocoa – both of them are great, it depends on your budget and preference.Â
Cacao is high in fibers, vitamins and costs much more than cocoa powder. Cocoa powder is also high in nutritious but costs less and if speaking about a hot drink mixed with good quality chocolate then the reason to buy more expensive cacao isn’t the response. Okay, everybody has the chance to choose what type of hot chocolate cocoa mix wants to serve. For me, cocoa powder is always a great and good option.Â
