Ingredients for Savory Coconut Keto Fat Bombs:

Coconut Keto Fat BombsWith just 3 ingredients you can create an amazing high-energy snack. Remember them and if still doesn’t have them in your kitchen, obligatory add them in your shopping list. With these keto-friendly ingredients, you can make versatile recipes.

Shredded coconut – try to use organic unsweetened shredded coconut with high-fat content. Avoid desiccated coconut as it is usually too dry. The more fat coconut has the better for us, and less coconut oil we will need.

Coconut butter – compared to coconut oil it has some carbs and less fat. Coconut butter is actually coconut flesh pureed into a paste. I am not following a strict diet so I prefer to use just butter. Anyway, as I said before you can adjust this recipe to your personalized died. If you need more fat, replace half of the coconut butter with coconut oil.

Almonds – can be enjoyed freely on a ketogenic diet. It doesn’t matter what diet we are following our body needs energy and nutrition. Almonds are ideal keto-friendly products. Almond flour can be a great substitute for high-carb flours, and I often use it in many low-carb recipes.

Coconut Keto Fat BombsAgave syrup – as my kids do not miss the opportunity to taste either dessert that I made, I choose to add just a little bit of agave syrup. It can be skipped or substituted with any keto-friendly sweetener, like erythritol.

For this keto fat bomb recipe I did not any additional aromas, as coconut is flavorful enough.

How to make Savory Coconut Keto Fat Bombs?

To satisfy your craving for sweets if you are on a keto diet is not so hard as it sounds. Grab needed quality ingredients and create!

Mix in a food processor (or electric mixer) ½ cup of shredded coconut, ⅓ cup of coconut butter, and 1 tbsp of agave syrup. Pulse until smooth.

Meanwhile, preheated frying pan on medium heat. Do not add any oil, as the almonds( as any other nuts) have enough oils on their own. Add some whole almond nuts in a single layer. Stirring occasionally cook them for about 8-10 minutes, until they become golden brown color. Be careful to not allow almonds to burn. Then, set aside to cool completely.

Coconut Keto Fat BombsTransfer smooth mixture into a bowl. Now we have to shape the balls. Grab a dollop of the coconut mixture in your palms and flatten it a little. Put one almond inside and roll into balls. Then, toss the balls in extra shredded coconut. Arrange the balls on a plate or onto a paper-lined baking sheet. Send them to chill in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Serve with pleasure as a snack, dessert, or treat!
