I choose the best looking 6 apples, of different sizes and colors, wash them properly and put aside while I am preparing the mixture for the toppings. Usually, I mix nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans) with honey and some grated cinnamon. Cut the middle of the apples with a knife, and try to make a hole looking somehow perfect and accurate. Fill the apples with the mixture add some butter that will tightly down into the center of the apples while baking. In the preheated oven at 180°C (350°F), put the apples and bake for no more than 20 minutes. They have to be soft, tender, and juicy. Serve the apples with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, or with hot caramel or chocolate, or the way they are simply baked.

Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 1 tbsp walnuts
- 1 tbsp almonds
- 1 tsp pecans
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- butter
Instructions
- Wash the apples.
- Put aside, make the filling.
- In a bowl mix the nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans) with 1 tbsp of honey.
- Core the middle of the apples.
- Fill the apples with the mixture and some grated cinnamon.
- Top some butter for a better taste.
- In the preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) bake the apples for about 20 minutes.
- Cool down few minutes, then serve with some icing sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
