Delicious Pulled Chicken Burger

Pulled or shredded chicken added to homemade burgers is full of flavours, of healthy ingredients, and can be easily assembled any time of the year. These easy to make burgers are a great option for dinner night parties or simply savoured in the family.

There are no rules when and how to make burgers. I adore burgers, as well as my family. Burgers can be prepared at any time of the year and can be assembled in different ways. The most famous and popular burgers are made of minced meat (any meat you like). However, for today I have made another version, but truly delicious and savoury. I really recommend this version in case you haven’t tried it yet. But you can also check my recipe of the traditional hamburger made with a lot of love and passion.

Why Instant Pot Shredded Chicken?

Making shredded chicken in the Instant Pot is one of the easiest methods to obtain juicy, soft, tender, and tasty meat. As I have mentioned in my previous article, shredded chicken is quick to make and flavorful to enjoy next to some veggies, or simply topped on burger bread. Making this chicken in Instant Pot is simply one pleasure. No mess and too much smell, just quick and simple. Also, it shreds in seconds and is ultra-soft and fluffy.

Delicious Pulled Chicken Burger

This pulled chicken burger is full of flavour, colours, and taste unbelievable. I mix some pulled chicken with some mayo and 1 clove of garlic to make the meat mixture more inviting and delicious. Also, I add some veggies, pickles and crunchy lettuce for more healthiness and aromas.

These easy to make at home burgers are loaded with flavours and irresistible aromas.

Shredded chicken can be easily stored and can be used in many other dishes. Probably, this is why I like assembling these burgers on lazy evenings.

What type of chicken is best for shredding?

Boneless chicken breast or boneless chicken thighs are both perfect for shredding. When you make any chicken meat in Instant Pot for shredding be careful to avoid bones and the skin. You will shred chicken meat easily and without any effort.

Is pulled chicken the same as shredded chicken?

Pulled chicken, aka shredded chicken, are both of the same techniques. Many will say that shredding implies more force, whereas pulling is more easily. However, I consider both techniques the same as they imply actions mostly the same.

You decide either they are the same or not!

How to make pulled chicken burgers?

I will start with assembling one of the most delicious and finger lingering pulled chicken burgers made at home.

When you have some shredded chicken leftover then you have to make some burgers. Delicious and tasty burgers with some simple and inexpensive ingredients.

Take your hamburger buns and grease some buffalo sauce. Check the buffalo recipe here.

Take a small bowl and mix mayo with pulled chicken and 1 clove of garlic.

Start layering the meat mixture over one half of the bun. Add some greenies, cheese, cucumber pickles and carrot. Top the half-cut bun and serve with some french fries or potato balls.

Optional, you can add some pesto sauce inside of the burger. Check the pesto recipe here.

Well, making shredded chicken burgers at home is simple fun. You can put inside the burger any ingredients you like. My husband adores buffalo sauce as it is a little piquant and spicy. I try to skip it as I don’t like spicy dishes.

This is definitely one of my hits when I serve these easy to make burgers for my crowd evenings.

Some tips:

Skip shredded chicken meat made at home with some rotisserie bought chicken.

Hamburger buns can be easily replaced with brioche buns or baguette bread.

Creamy horseradish sauce or mustard is an alternative to mayo.

Add some tabasco or buffalo sauce if you want them spicy and hot.
