How to make fruit salad?
What a delicious and sweet treat with fewer calories a fruit salad can be. A simple and quick sweet indulgence with lots of benefits and moments of savour.
The ingredients:
- 1 cup of fresh, ripe, and sweet blueberries
- ¼ of honeydew melon – I simply adore how melon pairs with other fruits. Its sweetness only makes this salad taste better and lingering
- ½ fresh and sweet raspberriesÂ
- 1 pear
- 1 peach
- Some grapes
- Juice of 1 lime. I adore the refreshing citrusy aroma and taste of lime that infuses all other sweet fruits. Lime here only accentuates the taste of all the fruits separately.Â
- Honey for dressing
The preparation:
Wash all the fruits.
Take a bowl and mix the honey with some lime juice and set aside.
Cut all the fruits the shape you like. Some fruits are sufficiently cut halves. Add all the cut fruits to the bowl. Mix gently the fruits so to infuse all the honey/lime dressing. Add some mint leaves and serve immediately.Â
How to avoid your fruit salad from turning brown?
This problem was my concern as well, as we all know that bananas, pears, apples turn brown in maximum 10 minutes. The miracle is simple and easy. Squeeze some lemon juice over the fruits, as the lemon acidity preserves the fruits from the effect of turning brown.Â
