- 18 oz ground turkey
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 medium onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 18 oz pasta shells
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup parmesan shredded
Bechamel sauce
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp powdered nutmeg
- 1 tsp white ground pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Bechamel Sauce
Melt the butter in a saucepan
Add the flour and always mix using a whisk until golden brown
Pour in the milk gradually and mix
Add in the spices
Pour in all milk and let simmer for 2-3 minutes on low heat
Set aside
Skillet turkey lasagna
Peel and mince garlic and onion
Heat the olive oil in the skillet, and saute the onion and garlic until translucent
Add the ground turkey and crush the meat with a spatula
Cook for 10 minutes, always stirring
Add the tomato sauce and cook for another couple of minutes
Add the pasta, mix, and cover everything with vegetable broth or water
Cook until pasta is al dente
Remove skillet from stove, and pour bechamel all over the surface evenly
Sprinkle parmesan and grated mozzarella on top
Bake in preheated oven to 350 degrees for 20 minutes, may use ventilation for additional 5 mins
Remove from oven and let rest for 10-15 minutes prior to serving
