Creamy Tomato Salad

Tomato salad in a creamy dressing is more than just an ideal summer salad. Ripe, end-of-summer garden tomatoes will make one of the best tastings creamy salads served next to anything.

  • 8 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 shallots
  • herbs, parsley, and dill
  • chives
  • seasoning


  • Properly wash and clean all the tomatoes. Take a cutting board and cut them wedges or halves. Thinly slice the shallots, parsley, dill, and chives.
  • Take a bowl and start combining all the ingredients. Pour the sour cream and mix well until all the ingredients have coated all the aromas.
  • Add salt and herbs at your discretion. Garnish with thinly chopped chives or spring green onions.
  • Serve immediately.
