Homemade Tasty Hamburger

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 4 burger buns
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  • Toss the ground beef is some black pepper, salt, ground garlic, and ground onion.
  • Separate the beef in 4 equal sections.
  • Use your hands to form some nice sized buns, mines are 10cm/3
  • Heat the stove and take a grill skillet. Fry the patties 5 minutes on each side, or until well done.
  • Meanwhile, fry the bacon slices in a skillet for about 2-3 minutes until they are crispy and golden.
  • Cut the pickles and tomatoes. Grease one piece of a bun with ketchup and another one with mayonnaise.
  • Start layering: first go the iceberg lettuce, then add the grilled patty with cheese, top it with a slice of tomato and pickles and finish the burger with the caramelized onion and bacon.
  • Top the lid of the bun that is greased with mayonnaise and serve immediately.
