- 500 g ground beef
- 4 burger buns
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
- 2 pickles
- 1 tomato
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- Iceberg lettuce
Toss the ground beef is some black pepper, salt, ground garlic, and ground onion.
Separate the beef in 4 equal sections.
Use your hands to form some nice sized buns, mines are 10cm/3
Heat the stove and take a grill skillet. Fry the patties 5 minutes on each side, or until well done.
Meanwhile, fry the bacon slices in a skillet for about 2-3 minutes until they are crispy and golden.
Cut the pickles and tomatoes. Grease one piece of a bun with ketchup and another one with mayonnaise.
Start layering: first go the iceberg lettuce, then add the grilled patty with cheese, top it with a slice of tomato and pickles and finish the burger with the caramelized onion and bacon.
Top the lid of the bun that is greased with mayonnaise and serve immediately.
