- 4 eggs
- 4 unsweetened buns
- 4 tbsp tomato sauce Taco sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese Gouda cheese
- 1/3 cup diced tomatoes
- 4 tsp chopped fresh basil
- salt & pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grab your favorite bread buns and slice the tops. Hollow out any extra bread until there is a hole large enough. Make sure you make it carefully without damaging the edges of the buns.
Arrange the buns on a baking tray. Grease the bottom of the bread with tomato sauce.
Sprinkle a layer of cheese.
Crack the eggs, one at a time, in a small bowl and then carefully pour it over the cheese.
Top with some chopped tomatoes and fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Send to preheated oven for 15 -20 minutes, depending on how runny you like the yolk. Make sure the egg whites are set.
