Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 parchment paper
  • 1 knife

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas cut about ¼ inch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 coconut flakes optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer at 350°F (176°C). While the air fryer is preheating, peel and slice two bananas uniformly and thinly (around 1/4 inch) with a sharp knife.
  • Season the sliced bananas with 1 tbsp brown sugar, ½ cup melted coconut oil, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp cayenne. To melt coconut oil, I use a bain-marie.
  • Now, lay a parchment paper on the air fryer basket and place sliced bananas without overlapping each other. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes at 350°F (176°C).
  • Garnish with coconut flakes and serve warm.
