1 air fryer
1 parchment paper
1 knife
- 2 ripe bananas cut about ¼ inch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 coconut flakes optional
Preheat the air fryer at 350°F (176°C). While the air fryer is preheating, peel and slice two bananas uniformly and thinly (around 1/4 inch) with a sharp knife.
Season the sliced bananas with 1 tbsp brown sugar, ½ cup melted coconut oil, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp cayenne. To melt coconut oil, I use a bain-marie.
Now, lay a parchment paper on the air fryer basket and place sliced bananas without overlapping each other. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes at 350°F (176°C).
Garnish with coconut flakes and serve warm.
