Addictive cabbage salad!

Today I would like to share with you a colorful salad with red and white cabbage, only good to enjoy during probably the last cold days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded white cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 cup shredded celery root
  • 1 red onion
  • 4 tbsp olive oil or sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 cup chopped fresh dill

Instructions

  • Add 2 cups shredded red cabbage, 2 cups white cabbage, 1 cup carrot, 1 cup celery root, and 1 red onion to a bowl. Mix the vegetables. Use a knife or Mandoline cutter to shred cabbage, carrot, and onion. For shredding cabbage, first discard the outer leaves of cabbage, and then shred them.
  • Season with ¼ tsp salt, 4 tbsp olive oil, and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. Mix and leave for 10-15 minutes. 
  • Then, season with ⅛ cup chopped fresh dill. Your red and white cabbage salad is ready. Serve with meat dishes like roasted chicken
