Vegetable Stuffed Sea Bream Fillet Roll-ups

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 lb sea bream 6 medium fillets of sea bream
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 medium leek stick
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup white dry wine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Use salt, ground black pepper, paprika, and some granulated garlic to season the sea bream fillets on both sides
  • Use a cutting board and a sharp knife to thinly slice all the veggies equally
  • Heat a pan and add some olive oil. Drop in the crushed garlic cloves so that the oil gets infused
  • Add the leek and allow it to cook for about one minute. Next, add the carrots and mix. Allow it to cook for another 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Finally, add the bell pepper slices and cook everything for an additional 2-3 minutes. Do not cover the veggies with a lid during cooking
  • Remove the pan from the stove and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes
  • Preheat the oven to 360F
  • Take about one spoon of the sauteed veggies and place them on one end of the fillet. Begin rolling and pin with a toothpick to seal the shape. Repeat with all the remaining fillets and place them into a skillet or baking pan
  • Drizzle some olive oil on top and pour a little bit of white wine into the pan
  • Bake the vegetable stuffed sea bream fillet roll-ups in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 360F
  • Serve the vegetable stuffed sea bream fillet roll-ups alone or next to some rice, quinoa, or buckwheat
