Crispy Fried Rice Bowl

Crispy and aromatic fried rice is the perfect base for any delicious toppings. You may complete the crispy rice with any other ingredients such as fried eggs, bacon, shrimp, and veggies for a perfectly balanced taste and nutritional value.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups rice raw, or 1.5 cups of boiled rice
  • 1 cup bell pepper
  • 3.5 oz bacon
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  • Boil the rice and let it chill
  • Heat up a skillet and fry the sliced bell pepper for 1 minute then fry the bacon next to it
  • Crack one egg and fry it next to the rest of the ingredients
  • Remove everything from the skillet on a plate
  • Add the oil to the skillet and put the rice, fry the rice for a couple of minutes
  • Pour the soy sauce, and rice vinegar then mix well
  • Fry for another minute then turn off the heat
  • Put the rice in a bowl and top with egg, bacon, and bell pepper
  • Serve with some sesame seeds on top and chopped chives
