- 2 fillet herring
- 1 baguette
- 1 red onion
- 5 cherry tomatoes
- 1 pickles
- lettuce
Mayo sauce:
- 1 cup mayo
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Preheat the oven at 350F (180C). Take a baking tray and lay some baking sheet.
Place the fish on a plate and season with some salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Place skin-side up the fish on the tray and bake for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, wash the veggies and cut slices. Set aside.
Take a bowl and mix the mayo, minced garlic and the Dijon mustard.
Take the baguette and cut halves. Spread a good amount of sauce on both sides and start layering the sandwich.
Place the fish between the halves of the bread and squeeze a good amount of lemon. Transfer to a platter and serve immediately.
