- 11 oz spaghetti
- 1 can tomatoes peeled
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp basil dried
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup parmesan grated
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar optional
Saute the slices of garlic for about 1 minute in the olive oil
Add one can of peeled tomatoes, let it simmer for about 2 minutes
Add the tomato sauce and season with salt and dried basil
Let simmer for at least 30 minutes on low heat. Stir occasionally
When the sauce is ready, turn off the stove and add a handful of grated parmesan, mix well for the cheese to melt it.
Cook the pasta in abundant boiling salted water according to the package instructions
Drain the al dente spaghetti directly into the sauce and mix
Garnish with fresh basil and some extra parmesan at your taste. Enjoy!
