Chop 1 medium onion
In the heated pan sauté butter and spices, and add the chopped onion
While the onion is simmering, chop 3 celery ribs and 2 medium potatoes
When the onion is smooth add chopped celery ribs and potatoes with a glass of water or broth and let them simmer until the potato is tender
Add 2 cups of frozen peas to the shimmering veggies
Cook all the veggies for 10 more minutes
Heat another skillet and fry 3-4 slices of good quality bacon
When the split pea soup is ready, cool down for some minutes and blend all the ingredients until it purees totally
Add 3.5 oz of heavy cream and mash the ingredients together in the bowl until the mixture has the consistency of a thick paste. Add salt and pepper to taste, and spices at your taste
