- 6 potatoes large
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion large
- 3 garlic cloves
- salt and pepper
Wash the potatoes and then slice them. Cut onion in half and then slice it.
Heat a little olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add in onions and minced garlic and cook stirring occasionally for about 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables soften.
Now add butter and sliced potatoes. Cook until potatoes are lightly browned on the sides. Season with salt and pepper and gently mix again. Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Continue cooking stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes more until the potato softens
