Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon

Teriyaki sauce & marinade

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds for garnishment
  • 2 tbsp dill chopped for garnishment
  • 2 tbsp spring onion chopped for garnishment

Instructions

Teriyaki marinade

  • Peel the ginger and the garlic cloves. Grate them in a single bowl
  • Add the soy sauce, the rice vinegar, sesame seeds oil and the honey
  • Mix everything well

How to marinate salmon

  • Wash the salmon and extract the bones
  • Soak the fish into the bowl with the sauce; let marinate for 20-30 minutes

How to bake teriyaki salmon?

  • Preheat oven at 400 degrees
  • Line a tray with parchment paper and lay over the marinated salmon fillets
  • Insert salmon into oven; let bake for 15 minutes
  • In the meantime put the teriyaki sauce to heat. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 2 minutes at low heat. Mix occasionally
  • Take out the teriyaki salmon fillets and spread some more teriyaki sauce using a kitchen brush
  • Insert into oven for additional 3-5 minutes
  • Turn of stove and serve with vegetables and rice
