Refreshing Strawberry Basil Sorbet
A super refreshing strawberry basil sorbet, with a perfectly balanced taste, just good for sunny days. Strawberry, basil, and lemon all together nicely create an amazingly delicious combination.
- 2 lb strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup basil chopped
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
Grab 2 lb of strawberries (washed and hulled), and transfer them to a blender (or food processor). Then add in about 1 cup of sugar, the juice from half of the lemon, and ⅓ cup of chopped basil. Process ingredients until completely smooth.
Transfer mixture into an airtight container and sent to the freezer overnight or at least 6 hours.
Before serving let sorbet et out of the freeze at room temperature for 10 minutes.
