American Style Scrambled Eggs with Crispy Bacon
Creamy and fluffy scrambled eggs - this is how I like my morning to start with.
- 8 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 8 slice bacon
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
Preheat the skillet over medium-low heat and lay the bacon in a single layer. Cook until starting to brown, then flip the slices and cook until crispy.
In a mixing bowl crack 8 eggs. Pour in ⅓ cup of milk, season with black pepper and beat until the mixture is a pure yellow color, with no visible egg white.
Heat the skillet with about 2 tbsp of bacon grease at low-medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet directly in the center. Using a spatula pull the cooked outer edges in towards the center of the skillet. When almost done season to taste with some salt.
Once you have your scrambled eggs ready pair them with crispy bacon. Sprinkle some spring onion and garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
