Equipment

  • Bowl
  • skillet

Ingredients

  • 14 chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch black pepper

For the Barbeque sauce

  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken wings in 3 sections, but throw the pinions off the wings. I have used 14 chicken wings.
  • Toss the cut wings in salt, pepper, and garlic powder and leave them about 20 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven at 200 °C (400 °F).
  • Arrange the wings nicely to the skillet and bake them for about 30 minutes, or until nicely brown.
  • Meanwhile, the wings are baking, prepare the sauce.
  • Take a small saucepan and add all the ingredients: barbecue sauce, sugar, honey, mustard, and the Worcestershire Sauce.
  • Heat the barbecue sauce and stir frequently to make it look like a paste and to avoid sticking. Stir well until the sugar melts. Lower the heat at a minimum and let it stay warm until your wings are ready baked.
  • Pour the barbecue sauce over the wings to cover them totally in the sauce using a pastry brush.
  • Bake another 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve them next to some French fries.
