Equipment

  • Large cutting board
  • skillet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1 pack mushrooms
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions

  • Clean, or wash the mushrooms and finely slice them.
  • Heat the skillet and fry the mushrooms in some olive oil.
  • Saute until soft and golden brown (about 7-10 minutes).
  • Take off the mushrooms when they are ready and place on a plate.
  • In the same skillet: mix butter with flour about 1-2 minutes until the consistency looks like a puree.
  • Pour the milk and into the mixture and stir well until thickened.
  • Return mushrooms back to the skillet and simmer 5-7 minutes more.
  • Serve the mushroom gravy topped on any garniture.
  • Garnish with some greenies or parmesan.
