Ingredients

  • 3 ½ oz chocolate pudding mixture
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp butter

Chocolate Frosting

  • 4 oz chocolate
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  • In a heavy saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat. Once you see milk bubbling, lower the heat and add butter and chocolate chips. Lightly stir and continue cooking until the added ingredients melt.
  • Add pudding mixture, working very quickly, constantly whisk until the mixture completely dissolves. Once the pudding has reached a simmer and is thoroughly combined, turn off the heat.
  • Transfer the chocolate pudding immediately into a serving dish or serving glasses. Chill the pudding for at least one hour.
  • Chocolate Frosting: Add about 4 oz of chopped chocolate to a medium glass bowl. To add some shiny and beautiful finish, stir in about 3 tbsp of heavy cream. Melt them together, constantly stirring with a spatula over a bain-marie. Set aside to cool a little.
  • Pour chocolate frosting over chilled pudding. Sprinkle on top a few almond flakes. Decorate with fresh strawberries and some grated chocolate.
