Bolognese Soup

  • 1 1/2 cup ground beef or pork
  • 1 onion
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 ribs celery
  • 3 cups broth meat or vegetable
  • 1 cup tomato sauce juice
  • 1 1/2 cup pasta shells
  • 1 cup parmesan shredded
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian herbs


  • Heat up the olive oil in a soup pan
  • Fry the ground beef for 10 minutes on medium heat
  • Mix and crush the meat well
  • Peel the veggies and finely dice them
  • Add to the meat and season with salt, paprika, granulated garlic, and Italian herbs
  • Sautee for another 10 minutes
  • Pour in the tomato juice/sauce and the broth. Let simmer for 5 minutes
  • Add. in the pasta shells and cook until tender (see cooking time on the. package)
  • Add the shredded parmesan and mix
  • Serve with pleasure
