- 8 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 shot brandy
- 1 glass white wine

Turn on the Instant Pot at low heat and pour some olive oil. Add the chopped onions and push the saute program. Stir often to avoid stickiness. Sautee about 15 minutes.
Add butter and salt, raise the heat at high and let the onions brown. Stir frequently until they will darken and get soft. It takes another 15 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and the wine. Deglaze the pot with a shot of brandy. Scrape up the browned bits on the bottom of the pot with a spatula, and deglaze constantly.
Pour the beef stock and add the seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cover the Instant Pot and lower the heat to keep a low simmer. Cook 30 minutes more.
Meanwhile, take a baking tray and lay down parchment paper. Cut slices the fresh baguette, top a lot of cheese and bake 3-5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Bake in the preheated oven at 450F.
The soup is ready so take a bowl and transfer some amount from the Instant Pot. Top one cheesy toast onto the soup and serve immediately.
