Humble & Delish Smashed Potatoes

- 12 medium potatoes
- 8 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup parmesan grated
- 1/4 cup balsamic cream
How to bake whole potatoes
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Thoroughly rub and wash the potatoes with a cloth
Dry each potato slightly with a clean paper towel
Sting each potato with a fork a few times to allow the steam come out of the vegetables while baking
Cover the baking tray with baking paper and place over the potatoes
Add some garlic cloves and sprinkle with olive oil and salt
Insert baking tray into the over for 45 minutes to 1 hour
How to make Garlic -Balsamic Sauce
Peel off and chop or grate some garlic cloves in a bowl
Add a pinch of salt. Add some tbsp of olive oil along with a few tbsp of balsamic cream and lemon juice
Mix everything and set aside
How to make smashed potatoes
When baking time expires, take out the tray from the oven.
Use a potato masher and press a little on the potatoes until they crack
Add 1 or 2 tbsp of the garlic-balsamic sauce to each smashed potato
Grate some parmesan on top
Get the tray back into the oven for additional 3-5 minutes
Serve immediately, with pleasure!
