- 1 cup lentils
- 4 cups water
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 celery
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- olive oil
Rinse the lentils.
Take a soup pot filled with 3 cups of water and add 1 cup of lentils to boil.
When the water is boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer 30 minutes, covered.
Add some bay leaves, minced cloves of garlic, the chopped celery, and spices.
In 30 minutes taste the soup. If it is soft and has a good taste then your soup is ready to be served.
Serve it topped with some olive oil drops and baked bread.
