Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  • De-seed two apples (no need to peel them) and cut both into medium-sized slices. Lay the apple slices on parchment paper.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 392°F (200°C) for 5 minutes. While the air fryer is preheating, squeeze half the lemon juice on the sliced apples. Sprinkle ½ cup brown sugar on the sliced apples. Then, sprinkle 1 tsp ground nutmeg and 2 tbsp ground cinnamon on the sliced apples with the help of a fine mesh strainer or sifter.

  • Add 2 tbsp oats, 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds, and a pinch of salt on the top of sliced apples. Put the sliced apples inside the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes at 392°F (200°C) for 5 minutes. Serve with my homemade ice cream recipe.
