Asparagus & Eggs on Toast for Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 12 asparagus spears
  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • seasoning
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Wash the asparagus and trim the ends. Heat butter with garlic in a large skillet over high heat. Saute the asparagus about 3 to 5 minutes until brown and tender.
  • Meanwhile, heat another skillet and fry the eggs. Season and cover the eggs to have soft-cooked egg yolks.
  • Bake the bread slices with some drops of olive oil and seasoning about 5 minutes.
  • To assemble, spread 1 tbsp of cream cheese on each slice of bread. Top 3 spears of asparagus and the egg.
  • Serve immediately and sprinkle serving with some salt and pepper.
