Ingredients

  • 6 medium tomatoes ripe
  • 2 cans beans white and black
  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 burrata
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika optional
  • 6 leaves basil
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs dried

Instructions

  • Peel and finely chop the onion
  • In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then sauté the chopped onion until it turns translucent
  • Wash and cube the tomatoes. Add them to the pan with the sautéed onions
  • Season with spices and add the herbs
  • Stir well and let the mixture simmer on low heat for approximately 15 minutes
  • Use a hand blender to puree the mixture into a creamy tomato sauce
  • Discard the liquid from the canned beans and add the beans to the tomato sauce
  • Stir and allow the mixture to cook for an additional 5 minutes
  • Tear the burrata into pieces and lay it onto the bean mixture. Add fresh basil leaves
  • Serve with pleasure
